Sprite Maker

Sprite Maker allows you to capture a 3D model and make a sprite of it. It also supports recording and capturing particle effects and animations and creates a sprite sheet for those. This tool does not just convert your 3D model into a sprite, with the latest update it is a useful sprite packer tool.

Open the Sprite Baker tool at Tools > Unitycoding > Sprite Maker > Sprite Baker

Drag and drop your model/prefab to the scene and position it in front of the camera. Also add animation clips, that should be captured to the list of Sprite Baker.

You get better results with an orthographic camera. If the background should be transparent change the Clear Flags to Solid Color.

When you are happy with the preview, hit bake and wait until the bake pogressĀ is finished. The Sprite Packer tool will popup.
